My sister got an iPhone 6 for Christmas, it's locked, and she is getting her sim card tomorrow. Is there anyway to bypass the opening lock screen, where it says the phone isn't usable without a sim card? Just so she can use the phone and not look miserable haha.
She can wait until tomorrow, it would be good if she could use her phone and download apps etc.

Not that i'm aware of. You kind of need to have a SIM to use any functions haha

This is true. You need to have the SIM to get the full functionality of the device.

You can bypass it by putting in any sim card that's for the same network the phone is for(locked to), run it through the activation process with that sim in, then once it's done just pop out that sim. You can use the device on Wifi and what not but if you want to send or receive voice/text you will need an active sim card.
Just use your/your parents/your friends sim card to activate it, just as long as its for the network the phone is locked to, then pop it out.
