I got my first gaming pc today the specs are -4.0GHz Six Core, Advanced, Desktop Gaming PC, Computer Complete Full Package Including: 2x Top Games, Windows 8.1 Operating System, 22" Monitor, Headset, Gamer's Keyboard & Mouse Set AND a Neon Green Internal Lighting Kit (New 4.0GHz AMD FX 6300 Fast Six 6-Core Processor, 2GB AMD Radeon R9 270 Graphics Card, Raijintek Aidos CPU Fan Cooler, High Grade 500W PSU, 1TB Hard Drive, 16GB 1600Mhz RAM) lots of people said it will run dayz fine but I seem to be getting 12 fps-20 fps and the resolution seems really choppy unlike other games can someone tell me if this should run dayz and what settings I should use. Also thanks to anyone who can help me with the resolution. Happy holidays and much thanks!

I believe this is in the wrong section.

Alright, now you need to remember that the game is still about halfway through it's Alpha stage so it's not optimized at all. Alot of people with top of the line builds are lucky to even get 40fps steady in cities on medium settings. I play at 1650x1080 with mostly low settings (shadows and clouds kill your fps the most so turn them off). To fix your resolution you might need to change your aspect ratio in game since that seems to be the biggest cause of any resolution issues.

I tend to get around 20-35 fps anywhere, but only about 15-25 in cities with a $600 budget build.
