When ever I try to sign in too psn on my ps4 it says


Cannot connect to the server within the time limit.

(NW-31456-9)

Respond if you know how too fix it!

it is because the PSN servers were hacked on Christmas Day. The servers were DDoS (overloading them). PSN and Xbox Live were both taken down. Both companies are warking very hard to fix the issue for us gamers. The supposed group that did the attack is lizard squad, they are a group of hackers that have emerged in the past year. Also a group called Finest Squad is working to take down lizard squad along with the owner of MEGA. So hopefullly the servers will be up soon, ive bee having the same problem since Christmas, i had just got a ton of new games and PSN cards and i was ready to use them!

They servers are taken down and they are working on them to make sure another DDoS attack does not happen in the future. Just give it time.
