Yeah but you know how big corporations are, appease the customer with a fake "Sorry, we care about you" announcement to make their consumers feel loved and improve their image.

I think they should. Considering it happened at such a terrible time. But at the same time there wasn't much they could have done against the ddos attacks.

What is wrong with this day and age? You're all so quick to jump on the compensation train. No, you shouldn't receive anything for some minor downtime.

They are multibillion-dollar companies. We should receive something in return because we didn't get what we paid for. It's not the customers fault that their terrible security didn't stand a chance against a couple guys in their parents basement with some computers.

I think it's a little more sophisticated than "a couple of guys in their parents basement". Hence why downtime is scarce, it doesn't happen often. If this was a regular occurrence then perhaps a little something to say sorry would apply. But for this to happen at a time when most of you should have been spending time with your family and not shut away up in your room playing online, I don't think you should all be begging for compensation. Enjoy what you have got.

I don't think they will give anything to compensate from the issue going on. If they did it would be pretty cool though.

Bottom line is, this attack was way out of Sony's hands. Every server has a limit and once it overloads, there isn't much that can be done. No system out there is fool-proof, there will always be flaws and vulnerabilities. They're and have been doing all they can to get you back online and you now want to pursue them for some form of compensation. A lot of you on here really need to grow up.

yes they should since its now bin almost 48hours since its downtime they should atless give ppl more plus
