I posted a topic yesterday about a pc I was going to buy off of ibuypower, of course you guys convinced me to build my own. So I picked some parts off of pcpartpicker and I need your opinions on it. I need to know if everything will work, like dimensions and compatability, I need to know that I will not have any problems with it, also I need to know if the parts I picked are good and what would be better for my build.

Here it is...

My budget is $1400 (including tax/shipping, I still need keyboard/mouse and monitor),
any recommendations?

Get that, then a razor keyboard and a razor mouse, and a apple/mac moniter w/ LED strips, you're going to have a NICE computer.

Ok. I also need to know if everything is compatable and if everything will like fit nicely in the case I have. Do you know if what I have is all good?

No, it's not.

That would be stupid.

OP-What are you using the PC for? If it's just gaming, drop the i7 for an i5. What you have is alright, other than the CPU cooler, not much point in buying an AIO with a rad smaller than 240mm. Will you be overclocking? If not, you're wasting money.

I plan to overclock, yes. Would the i5-4690K be good? And what do you mean by "AIO with a rad smaller than 240mm"

If you need the i7 and want to overclock, here;

with this cooler;

If you're only gaming, drop the i7 for a 4690k. If you're not overclocking, get a 4460 for just gaming, Xeon E3-1230 V3 if you're going to benefit from the 8 threads and drop the cooler as well as swapping the Z97 board for a H97 board. If you want SLI support, hold onto the Z97 board. Use any $5 keyboard for now, until you can get something like a Quickfire TK or Vengeance K70. Also, add an SSD when you can.

Edit- Rad is the radiator. H60 has a 120mm rad, the larger the rad, the better it's going to cool, typically. Will you be editing/rendering or just gaming with this PC?

Since you're overclocking, here are two options;

4790k will benefit in editing/rendering and what not as it has 8 threads. The X61 is just a place holder, swap it for the Enermax cooler I suggested in my above post, if you wish. Both are fantastic coolers. X61 has a 280mm rad, LiqTech 240 has 240mm rad. The LiqTech is solid af, but doesn't have an RGB LED, like the XX61 does. If you get the LiqTech, you'll be stuck with a blue LED on the block. With the X61, you can change the block colour accordingly.

For gaming only, here;

swapped the 4790k for a 4690k and used the savings to add a decent SSD.

R5 is also a place holder, swap it for an H440 or something if you'd prefer. Since you were interested in the S340, you might like the H440. Both the H440 and R5 have space for the X61's 280mm rad, as does the S340.
