Hi there,
Recently, my headset adapter has caused echo due to the 2.5mm to 3.0mm adapter itself. I have a seperate 2.5mm to 3.0mm cable which does not need an adapter but it does not let me speak at all.

Can anyone help with this?

Use some good old Earphones what have a mic, that's what I do.
