There's only 2 things you could have done
1). You didn't press return after entering the script into hosts file.
2). You were lazy and went on Google and searched for my IP. That is your public IP, not your private.

I fixed the server, it should be up And running.

If we upgrade things does it run over into the actual game?

Say I upgrade my teslas from 5 to 6 in the server, will the upgrade stick when I go off of your server and back on to SC servers?

OP didnt even put his public IP like hes supposed to...


192.x.x.x is PRIVATE.

Public IPS are different and needed for others to connect and not yourself.

OP has to use the private IP while others have to use the public.

Hence the reason nobody can connect.

No, it doesn't work like that because it's an alernate server.
