When i try to open Garry's mod it tells me "failed to start game (app already running)" but it's not running i haven't played it yet. Somebody help me

Is another steam game running? Try rebooting your PC to close any steam app that might have not fully closed.

i get that all the time i just restart my pc and its fine again
