I would like to see it happen, even though I'd also love to see Messi stay at Barcelona his entire career and I'd love his class in the premier league and he would be able to prove himself that he is indeed the best player in the world because the debate when people wonder if Messi is better than Ronaldo or vice-versa Ronaldo fans could argue Ronaldo has proven himself in both leagues so I'd love to see Messi go to BPL to prove himself. What are your opinions!?!

I doubt Messi will actually join Chelsea, as he stated he wants to stay at Barcelona.
But if he did join chelsea, Then chelsea would be way to OP for the BPL with Hazard Costa and Messi.

never going to happen, many clubs have tried and not prevailed, nothing different to Chelsea than another rich club like PSG or Man city.

The only team that has actually tried was Anzhi (the russian club) who paid his buy-out clause but Messi rejected their offer of 460,000 per week offer

highly doubt it will happen but anything is possible! If he went anywhere I would think it would be City due to Aguero.

You could say the same about Fabregas , He was gutted when he left...
Its building on twitter , Apperently we have asked about paying 250M for him , Anyone who believes this xD.We could get around FFP im sure (Lots of players on the books we could get rid of without affecting the team , Youngstars + willian/andre maybe , Rami as well , Mikel etc) + 250m is split up for his entire contract , Assuming a 3 year contract and assuming we would pay 250m for him thats around 80M which is ludicrous but alot better sounding than 250M
Not going to happen though , Personally dont want it to happen , Where would he go?.Yes alot of people will say "Hes messi he can player wherever he wants" and its a big enough transfer to make a majour rework on the squad a possibility.
But we have Costa and hazard and Oscar , I wouldent replace either one of these , I dont think he is going to be playing CDM for us and the only position i see as "There for the taking" is RM , I like willian and think andre will come good but thats the one position where we could strengthen , Messi is not going to come here to play RM though xD.
Unless we play something like 442 - Matic - Oscar - Fabregas - Hazard - Messi - Costa , Same as we played back when Jose was first in charge.

Fabregas is the only one that could convince him; those two seem very close..
Like I've said before, it's almost certainly false but Barca do seem to be having internal problems right now so I won't entirely rule it out

He'd probably play behind Costa.
Costa
Hazard - Messi - Reus

It'd be impossible to pull off under financial fair play regulations.

If the Barcelona situation is quite like the media imply, they will soon be stuck with an ultimatum - The manager leaves or Messi leaves;
I wouldn't want people to get their hopes up about the deal (particularly with FFP) but if we can work around the system a little, maybe there's a small chance still
