What do you mean by beta key? I downloaded straight off the dashboard.

Even with a beta key you will still need to play MCC, since I tried downloading the game and on the main menu there was an error telling me I need a MCC license to play Halo 5. I'm not sure if 343 is doing it but they might make it available to download for everyone on the last week of the beta, I don't know, we'll see.
