I painted my controller and I out clear coat on, I put too much clear coat on the buttons and they don't fit. I also don't like the whole controller and want to redo it and I saw out it in paint thinner? I did and it's still ok there what so I use to remove the clear coat and the paint. Thanks!!! Or should I just sand it off?

If you say you put too much on it just wait a few days. Mine took a while to dry on my ps4 controller. My controller was a bit sticky for a few days.

Just take some fine grit sand paper and sand off the clear coat from the sides of the buttons.

Edit:
I think sand paper is the way to go if you want to repaint it too. Wether you want to remove the clear coat a little or remove all the paint and do it over you'd have to sand it anyway.
