Is the external hard drive formatted to FAT32 as FAT32 cant transfer files that are more that 4gb in size. To check what file system the hard drive is formatted to, right click the hard drive and select properties.

Well there is the problem then. To bypass this you would need to format the drive to a NTFS file system but you would lose everything on the hard drive in the process of it.

Also I don't know much about Jtags so I wouldn't know if NTFS is acceptable with Jtags/xKey.

Download WinRar, and archive the file into two compressed separate files, FAT32 can't move more than 4gb at a time, so making the file sizes under 3gb each should work perfectly
