Hey man I've been on this site for 4+ years doing multiple free lobbies helping out the community and never once got gifted gold. But I mean I'm not complaining the community has re-payed me in much better ways than a simple month of gold ever could.

People who get gifted after a week only get it from people they actually know usually

Oh the irony. You say you've never been gifted gold, but yet you have a 3 letter name? You have to be gold to change your name to a 3 letter username. Unless, you bought gold which, I wouldn't know that.

I may be completely wrong about this but I thought 4+ years ago you could join with a 3 letter username, then they stopped it for a while then they let you change it to 3 letters with gold. I'm not 100% sure about this but I think a lot of users had three letter usernames from the start.

This is one of the main reasons I have stopped gifting CERTAIN types of member. If you have not received gold as a gift then nobody has noticed you hence you are not helping the community to the point where someone thinks "Hey this guy deserves gold".

I also think it is funny how people expect to be gifted on the pretense that they do lobbies and that is implying they re helping people. I mean a lot of hosters ask for rep and thanks and when you are in a lobby some (not all) also ask for donations etc.

The generosity on TTG is overwhelming and the amount of gifters and people doing community giveaways is fantastic and then there are people who just make no effort and say "I have been here for x amount of years and I am yet to experience gold waah waah waaah" get over yourselves and do something beneficial for the community or a fellow member.

More doing stuff please and less expecting to be on the receiving end of someone's false generosity (someone just buying the badge). People get noticed for all the wrong reasons and this post has only just reminded me how greedy some people are.

What makes you think just because you have been on TTG for awhile you deserve gold ? You have a one year acct and almost no post and no rep your most likey not helping out people would rather gift gold to someone who's been on here for 1 week and is helpful Vs someone like yourself 1 year and not helpful and inactive
