i want to start making GFX and helping the TTG community , can anyone post any links to programs (virus free) that i could use being a beginner ?

Well your going to have to look for a torrent link for Photoshop yourself as it's against the rules to post one.

Go to adobe.com and download photoshop CS5 trial.
Any other way of getting it is stealing.
