IM looking to build or buy a custom built pc. The price range I included will need to include 2 or 3 gaming monitor 24" and perfer a 1ms response time.
When it comes to the pc I dont know much about specs and all. I just need something that will be fast reliable and that can render videos fairly quick and have multiple apps opened. Also would like to be able to play some of the popular games on it such as gta and cod. I will also be needing to purchase a better mic and a mechanical keyboard also needed in the price range.
All ideas and suggestions will be considered and will help me make my decisions thanks!

Just so I got this straight, You need 2-3 "Gaming Monitors" and you have a $500-$1200 Budget for everything? If so then... 2 to 3 gaming monitors will cost you $200 or more each. That's potentially up to $600 just for the monitors, leaving you with $600 for PC parts, Mic, and mechanical keyboard.

Response time makes little to no difference. You're unlikely to notice the difference between a 1ms and 6ms response time.

Something like this will be fine;

Get the rebates and use combo/promo discounts and use the extra $70 for a mic. You could sacrifice some GPU performance to swap the CPU for an 8 thread Xeon which would help with editing/rendering, but the i5 will still handle those tasks perfectly well. You can add another 8GB RAM in the future if you wish. You should add an SSD when you can.

basically any monitor that would be sufficient for gaming.

okay thanks! I'm still gonna be fairly open to suggestions. Or I might switch those monitors for some cheaper ones or 24" ones. Just I have to wait for taxes to come in before I buy any parts and all.

That would be a mistake. Cheaping out on monitors is a horrible decision, I done it 3 times. Also, the difference between 23" and 24" is minimal, you'd hardly notice a difference. Quality of panel>size and response time. Considering you have $750 after 2x decent monitors and a decent mechanical keyboard, that's the best you'll get, unless you cheap out on motherboard, case etc. I'd suggest getting one monitor for now, swapping the i5 for an E3-1230 V3 and grabbing an SSD, then adding a 2nd and 3rd monitor at a later date.

Like the others said, I'd go for a better PC over 2 or 3 monitors. While having 2 or 3 monitors is nice, you can survive with one for the time being. I would recommend this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

I think im gonna need two monitors atleast. Because I plan on having one screen for my xbox only and the other for the desktop. I might be able to just use my laptop screen as that display tho.

Or just connect both to the one monitor? Honestly, using one monitor to afford better components is a wise move, then add a 2nd monitor when you can and finally, a 3rd.
