THERE IS NO TYPE 99. It has been confirmed by Treyarch.

chrisp i got it to work

You stand by the mystery box or the perk machine of you choice.
Then you knife the zombie and buy whatever you chose at the same time.

*Note* - Not sure if it works for weapons on the wall, but you could try.
