As the title says my Xbox one is randomly shutting off for no reason ever 10-20 minutes. I have checked all of my cables and made sure that they are secure and what not. Randomly my Xbox shuts off but right after I can turn it back on and then it boots up like it was unplugged. I am looking at the power bar and there is a solid white light anyone have any suggestions? Really annoying. I find it happens when I play multiplayer if t makes a difference.

Sounds like your xbox is either overheating or its not getting enough power.
Have you tried plugging the power brick right into the wall instead of a socketbar?
Does the xbox have enough room to "breathe"

If none of those things work call Micorsoft because then its a bigger issue and your xbox or PSU might be broken

I can't see it being it over heating as I only really played 10 minutes before it occurred, I actually haven't tried plugging in to a socket I've been using a power bar thing I'll try it thanks !

I had brought it with me to a friends house, part of me thinks it's overheating because maybe one of the fans was knocked loose? I contacted Xbox supoort and they told me I'd have to send my console in for $120 and wait almost a month for the repair anyone have any other suggestions? The people over on the support page don't even know what's wrong with it.

Make sure your power brick can "breathe" and the light isnt red. Its just as important as the actual console. If both are fine, contact Microsoft support.

Sorry to revive this but does anyone know of a place where I could buy a brand new psu for my console that's not from Microsoft? They want me to ship my broken one in and that will take forever then they will send me a new one. I just want to eliminate that step and get a new one in a few days. + rep to anyone who can give me a tip or a link. Thanks in advance

Finally got a recording of it shutting off. It appears as if the console shuts off and then the power cord goes to standby or yellow light. I think I'm most likely just shipping my shitbox one to Microsoft. Thanks to everyone that helped. If you have had this happen to you and found a way to fix it let me know. Thanks in advance.
