Exotic Bounties

So, I watched a YouTube video on how to get exotic bounties and the guy said something like: " what you need to do is hand in a load of bounties preferrably PvE ones and get one more , finish it and hand it in separate to the others ".

So far I have handed in every PvE bounty there is - about 7 and there is only crucible ones left, do I have to do all of the crucible ones?

Exotic bounties are completely random. There isn't any way to speed them up its just pure luck.
