Whats the easiest way for this to be done?
Thought it may have been easier but the iPad is not recognised in the my computer screen once its plugged in?

Use a program called CopyTrans manager, just google it, free to download.
Easy to use & Great for other things too.

You'd be easier downloading iFunbox which allows you to veiw and edit files easily without jail breaking or if you simply connect your iPad to your pc/laptop then you can open the iPad from 'my computer' and go through the folders and copy and paste them to your pc from m there

Naw the easiest way is Dropbox all u do is put it on your iPad and it automatically syncs to your PC way faster than what anyone else tells you I've been using this app for years and has never let me down
