So I just moved everything over from my old case to the new NZXT H440, as some of you know it doesnt support an optical drive, which I quite like as I never use it and theres more space for hard drives.

But when I start my computer it gives me an error

ERROR: No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed

How do I stop this ?

Are you sure you have your drives connected properly? Can you get into the BIOS? If you can check your boot order.

also when you turn on the go right up to it and try to listen if the hard drive spins up.

if you cant here it then just check to see if the hard drive is vibrating at all. if it is then the hard drive is powered up however the data cable may not be connected fully.

hope this helps

The error has nothing to do with your optical drive. The motherboard can't locate your OS to boot into it, make sure everything is connected properly and working.

either a hard drive isn't connected (Check in bios) or you will need to re select boot order also in bios.
