What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?

You do. No need to spend so much on a mobo. i5 will be fine for gaming, as will 8GB RAM. That PSU isn't very good either. Are you even going to overclock? Will you make use of SLI at any point?

Just because you have a good understanding of PC's doesn't mean you cant be offered help.
Personally, Id drop the 4790k for a 4690k
Pick up a decent AIO cooler / air cooler. Depending on preference
8GB of ram
1TB black 500GB SSD
MSI 970
A better PSU or one that actually has nice cables.
Seriously, cables ruin the look of most builds IMO.

You don't have a SSD in a build with a budget over 1k seriously something is wrong.
Drop the i7 and the 16Gb ram.

There is no need for an i7, but if you have $1300 to spend, you can grab one. The i7 will be more beneficial than the extra RAM in the majority of cases anyway. Here;

SLI support so you can add another 970 if you ever want.
If you're not going to OC, drop the cooler and swap the 4790k for a Xeon or an i5. If you're not overclocking and not going to make use of the motherboard's SLI support, get a cheaper mobo. Get the S340 instead if you wish, but the H440 is pretty much the S340's big brother, built a little better and a few extras. If you do any of the above to save money, spend what you save on a larger/better SSD. Oh, and you won't need a 750W PSU unless you're running 2 x 970's.
Edit- An i5 and 8GB RAM is plenty, even for minimal editing/rendering, the i5 will do fine. RAM is the last thing you should worry about anyway since it's the easiest and arguably cheapest component to add/upgrade.
