I have the R9 270X HAWK and it's a great card for most games.
It generates a lot of heat though in my opinion.

270x out-performs the 750Ti. No need for a 600W/700W PSU. 450W is more than enough to run almost every single car rig. I'd get an XFX TS unit, or an XTR if you can. The XFX Pro's are the old version of the TS, they'll still be fine though.

It won't. AMD GPU's don't output that much more heat than NVIDIA cards. Just make sure to get a decent aftermarket cooler, not reference or blower.
