Hello. I've been a web developer for a while now, and I'm just wondering who else designs there websites in the browser without Photoshop? Sometimes it seems like I'm alone because I hardly hear anyone talk about this.
Another thing is that I want to improve my design skills when creating without Photoshop. Can anyone give me any advice or good tutorials to produce better quality design?

I don't know what you mean, but I just create my sites with a layout in mind after I do a wireframe of what I expect it to look like.
If you mean, coding the site while seeing changes, look into [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
If you mean those WYSIWYG Editors on a website, then leave. Those won't teach you much in terms of being able to create your own site from the ground up.

I know what you mean by browser and by photoshop and your not the only one who does code and views at the same time I do it too. I dont use photoshop although I can take a single photo from photoshop and design it in css.[mostly]

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.
Basically, people sometimes used Photoshop to design the look, and slice it into images. I'm talking about just writing HTML5 and CSS3 in a text editor(Sublime Text), saving changes and then previewing it in the browser.
And I'm just wondering if I can improve my design skills when doing this method.

yeah I don't use Photoshop, Only thing I use Photoshop for is creating Banners or Logos etc!

Try Brackets. It has a live preview feature so once you save the document, it'll refresh automatically. I used to only use Sublime for web development (and I still use it for other stuff like python) but I've slowly migrated over to Brackets for web development stuff.

I have been using SubLime today and am really enjoying it, the color coding etc really helps! Would you recommend Brackets then?

I use Brackets and I love how you can refresh content as it is built in the code. This really helps when developing because you can view what you are editing while you edit, Brackets places a light blue border around the area you are editing basically a selection and shows you what and how you are editing it, i guess not necessarily how but it shows you.

Brackets is a very nice designing program for easy and efficient web building
