Is this good for a budget build? (To run games like GMod, Counter Strike, L4D, Sims 3, Football Manager, GTA 4, Battlefield 3, COD WaW, Simulator Games)....

4.0GHz AMD 750K Overclocked 4-core CPU
8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD
AMD Radeon R7 260X 2GB

Thanks!

About 500GBP but 100GBP of that will be going on Windows 7/Gaming Keyboard & Mouse.

Add an SSD when you can.

Edit- Get your OS for free, and use a cheap kb+mouse for now. £100 for OS and peripherals isn't enough anyway, a decent keyboard and mouse will run you over £100 alone.

Are these the best components you can get for 500GBP?

Yeapp. You could possibly sacrifice 4GB RAM for a slightly better CPU or GPU, but I wouldn't.
