What is your budget and currency? Around 700 GBP
Do you need a monitor? No
Do you need a keyboard? No
Do you need a mouse? No
Do you need an operating system? Please, who buys theirs?
What will you use the PC for? Gaming and school work (Last year of school and going to probably go to college), maybe the occasional youtube video.

I would like the build to be from CCL Computers as i can pick the parts up instead of ordering it. I also would like the i5 4690k with a z97 board. The cpu cooler isn't needed to be included as that can come at a later date.

Thanks for your help.

I'd suggest scan, and you have the magic of sitting at home and the parts coming to you rather then going to the parts(less hassle also)

Z97 board that supports SLI if you want to SLI the 970's in the future

Both builds add another 4GB of ram when you can and a SSD if you wish.

How about a r9 290 and no ssd?

I would rather have the i5 4690k because if i needed more power out of my cpu the i can overclock instead of buying a new cpu

Its quite a bit over but if you can save up a bit then you might as well.

The board doesn't support SLi however.

Scan are a bit pricey on the 4690k, go with SLI's build but put the GTX 970 in
