I want to try and upgrade my CPU
Current specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4010 CPU @ 1.70 GHz
4 GB

No chance. You will not be able to upgrade your CPU. Normally in laptops you can only upgrade your RAM and HDD. I'd go for 8GB of RAM if I were you.

When it comes to Laptops and upgradeablability there's very little that ACTUALLY can be upgraded.
Unless specified by the laptops manufacturer you CANNOT upgrade parts. Either because it voids your warranty, to they're soldered to the motherboard.
Check on the manufacturer's website if you can.

Like the others said, there is little that you can upgrade.
I had a friend recently upgrade his laptop to 8GB of ram and a 250GB SSD.

Myself I have never had a laptop with a CPU soldered to the board they have always been socketed so if the socket and chipset supported a better CPU those could possible be upgraded.

OH YEAH U CAN U CAN OVERRIDE u know what this this have ti be in boot then usb ntfs file go computer then boom there u go welcome to 8.1 but computer fit for windows 7 home preuimed but i override then windows 8.1 wirh hack tool for activation then there i forever =) and then there u go i will post youtube tomorrow maybe!!! because tomorrow i will have windows 7 laptop =_)

i made my laptop i got 8ram and 500gb(from ps3 super silms) =) and 4ghz =) and Pro intel and pro cpu =)
