My son is boxing tonight, it's his first fight this year. His stats in his 1st year are.

Pretty neat record, and good achievements, he has good experiance, however id reccomened getting him interclubs ( a fairly good spar with people from other gyms ) for more experiance, and remember to let him know, all of his butterflys and nervous thoughts go as soon as hes in the ring, and always think positive before a fight, and try and plan some nice combos he could do in the fight for different situations, e.g if hes defending, and getting hit, try a UpperCut, Hook, Cross combo, it works everytime for me!
And if hes fighting 3 rounds x3 minutes, always train as if your fighting 3 rounds x 6 minutes, it helps your fitness hugely and you'll more then likely last the majority of the fight fitness wise.
