Knotic wrote I wish I had the money at the moment to build a good PC. There are games on PC that I would love to play.

However, for the moment I'd say console gaming for me. Simply because, that's where my friends are.

I mean I love both honestly, but I think PC Gaming takes the cake for me, you need to put in some money though for it to be any better!

I'd go with PC to be honest.

1.You can do a lot on PC apart from gaming so it's good for doing multiple very different things.

2.You can get games at cheaper prices, there are wide varieties of games and better deals. Also you don't have to go out to a shop to buy a game

3.Graphics are better and I think with some games it's more precise aiming using a mouse. (Also you can use a controller if you wish).

4.Talking with a group is easy. Using Teamspeak or Skype means you can save groups of friends/certain players and you can have more than 8 at a time. Messaging in games is quicker than sending messages on console.

5.If you want to play a game and listen to music, you can leave a YouTube playlist running on your computer while in game so you can chill out if you're not talking to anyone. So you can hear both the game and music clearly.

6.You can add nicknames to friends on Steam so you don't forget who is who. If you have a teammate for let's say Counter Strike you can add a nickname like CS:GO friend to them and it'll say (CS:GO friend) next to their Steam name in your friends list.

7.Your profile is much more customizable. You can add a ton of features to it and change plenty of stuff about to make it look different from others.

8.The marketplace on Steam creates a whole separate experience of trading/buying/selling so you can build up collections and in game items for many games.

I can think of many more reasons. I spent a little bit of time thinking of these and I think they are good reasons to justify why I prefer PC gaming.

When I was gaming, i'd go with PC! I used to prefer it as it is 10 times better e.g FPS.

I'd prefer console for GTA and Gran Turismo though.

I find PC gaming to be better visually with the right graphic card/modifications to the game (ex. Skyrim etc) but console gaming is muuuuch easier with the controller and the fact that most people on Xbox have mics and stuff to communicate where not many in PC gaming do.

Personally if anything, I would say console gaming because im not a hardcore gamer.

Truth is, I don't even play video games at all to be honest unless im at a friends house and he has a PS4 or something.

I've been gaming for over 16 years now, and I can say without a biased view that both are fantastic.

I spent years on console and years on PC, which currently I'm sticking to PC as I believe this is where I truly get the most enjoyment. To each his own, is really the case.
