The fact that if I wait and donate when they do their stream then I get to see a community that I'm personally involved with produce huge donation numbers. Yesterday we (the people who donated through Markiplier) donated over $54,000 in less than 8 hours.

Im sure you have heard of Amhai - he donated 100k to Sodapoppin in total and over 20k i think to reckful he recetly donated another i think 59k to a streamer it was on the news, because no one actually knows who he is.. then again there is people who can afford to support who they enjyo watching but, yea some streamers make alot in a little time. xD

you say they make a lot in little time but you have to factor in how much time it took for them to be noticed and grow a big audience, everyone starts from scratch somewhere also how much money they spent on buying their equipment. you don't get nothing for nothing in this world

Exactly it takes years before you could get some where .. your not gonna stream for a day and makes 1000's they stream and pay for what they use, i know sodapoppin has streamed for over 5 years.. on many differnet things and he didnt make money untill a couple years ago..

If I remember correctly, Sodapoppin stated in one of his videos that that guy withdrew his donation of and never actually gave him the money

Sodapoppin got his money there was one guy who took back alot of money and he made a video about it if you go to his stream and check his donation thing at the bottom Amahi is top with 100k

Okay, then as long as there was another one that did do that. Cuz I remember the video of the guy trolling him and everything. I don't really watch streamers so I didn't know.

No, never will, not sure what this whole, streamer and streaming hype is about, I'd rather play a game then watch thousands of others "try" to play the games lol.

you don't watch to see them play the games, you watch for the entertainment value and to interact with new people in chat etc. i guess it's just something some like to do and others don't

Seems to be the case, I guess it's really no different from watching someones commentary on YouTube. Which I'm definitely guilty of doing, makes some quality background noise I suppose.

I've never donated or subscribed to a twitch streamer since I'm young and don't have any spare money lying about although once I get a job I will definitely subscribe to a few I enjoy watching since it will support there channel as well as twitch since half of the money would go to them.

Favorite streamer, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Why?

He is really doing a great job, he's not boring & he entertains his viewers.
Yes I have donated both money and FIFA coins to him.
A amount of:

- 5M FIFA Coins and 50$ US Dollars. And no, I do not regret it.
Kind regards
