so im using a WD 1TB Black drive on my custom pc i built and i want to pick up a SSD as my Hard drive is getting full and slowing down my pc slightly so i want to pick up a
fast ssd. for starters can i put in my windows 8 disc and just reinstall it using the key i was using before [same motherboard everything!] or do i have too buy the os again!? also what ssd do you recommend for just installing the OS and things like google chrome and also how would i be able to use my wd black as the main hard drive so i dont install stuff to the ssd after i done the os

As long as you will be using the same motherboard, you will be able to re-use the Windows serial key.
When installing programs you will be able to choose if you want them installed on the HDD or SSD.
As for installing programs on the SSD, just install the ones you use the most as that will benefit you more that just the OS installed on the SSD.
