So I ordered some headphones from Amazon and they are scheduled to be here tomorrow. I live in New Mexico so usually everything that gets shipped to me goes to Albuquerque, NM first before it gets to me. I live a few hours south of Albuquerque. The package that I ordered got to the UPS place Albuquerque yesterday night and instead of putting it on a truck that is coming down here and having an early delivery, they let the package sit for the whole day. I realize that it is not scheduled for delivery until tomorrow, but really? You can't put it on a truck that is already coming down here anyway? This is not the first time this has happened to me either. It's like they stick to their schedule so much they don't even realize time could be saved. I don't know if there is a reason for them doing this or what but it's pretty irritating.

Proceeder is proceeder. ever thought that people pay extra to get priority on the packages to get them early if they just shipped everyone out early they wouldn't be making as much money on priority services.

Yeah UPS/FedEx shipping can be odd at times but everything is done for a reason.

For instance right now I have a package coming from out of Texas. Its funny because it arrived in Dallas, which is in the northern part of the State. Then the next day I see it in Houston, the Southern part of the State. Im in Austin Which is in the central part. Why would they go around my city?

Its because they have hubs that the packages have to go through. Plus it depends on the shipping that I paid for.
Like they would have skipped a step.

I work for UPS and I dont fully understand it. lol.
