Hello, Why do you go for badges?

Explain below on why you go for badges.
Is it because you think they look cool?
Maybe you've set yourself on achieving them?
or maybe you just like helping out the community.

I go for badges such as Gold Gifter/+ because I set my
mind to achieving them as well as supporting the community.

You may post multiple reasons on your response to this Topic.

Well, when building up your profile, it comes with achievements a long the way.

SO, when getting your posts up, reputation and whatever else. Reaching those awards is a reminder of how hard you worked.

I personally like the look of the badges.

I went for the two I currently have because I like how they look, really no other reason.

I'm probably done with achievable badges for the time being.

well once I started I thought badges got you popular and all but they actually do not. Once I found that out I just wanted to finish off the badges I need and just stop my activeness on the site. So im mostly just posting news comments now.
