ttggivengift wrote the car didnt come boosted at least in the U.S.; so there for even when you boost it you dont have to tell your insurance that you did it, now mind you when you rearend someone the insurance will only pay to replace the original motor .

so take your choice cheap insurance and hope you dont have a front end accident; or pay out the ass for insurance and know all your stuffs covered no matter what.

for me ive kept cheap insurance ive owned my car for 7 yrs in the money ive saved for not paying the premium of my boosted ride i could build 2 or 3 motors exactly the same as the one in the ride now.

seeing how your 21 (remembering my 21yo days) you might want to pay to keep the motor covered we tend to be a little more risky at 21.lol
Pretty sure you have to inform your insurance company if you make any modifications to your car.

It's not smart to mod your car and not inform your insurance company because if you get into an accident and they find out one of your modifications might be the cause, they will void your insurance claim.

Incorrect.

People inform their insurance company of their mods so if something happens, the owner can get all the money back they spent on mods and do it again if they choose. Or just get their money back.

People with built up supras do this.
Any one with a very built car does this.
