I know this is a rather 1st world problem, but this is the rant section, so I will continue. Don't you hate when your family bogs your internet, from their ridiculous internet habits? Now you could say that, I don't pay the internet bill, which is true, or that, I probably do the same. I always try to be nice whenever I download steam games, or any other large file, by downloading, late at night, or whenever everyone is gone. But the can't get threw their head, that with one person downloading, something, and another watching Netflix, the internet is rather useless. Just something that grinds my gears I guess, thanks for sticking around this long.

I hate when everyone is on the internet too at my house.

It just messes everything up.

I hate when people say "first world problems" most things are "first world problems" anyway, it is annoying though.

I truly don't mean to be offensive, but your internet package simply isn't good enough for your family if your experiencing major lag whilst other people are using it. I suggest you speak to the billpayer about upgrading your package?

I'm currently with Virgin Media XXL, 100MBps download speed which is more than enough to multi-task online, in my house there are 2 PC's a tablet and my XB1, my dad is constantly streaming movies and tv shows on his PC, sometimes mine is also running on top of my xbox and tablet.

P.S I suggest avoiding companies like TalkTalk who are known to have terribly slow internet, do a bit of research and find the best providers available in your area.

Oh I know, I live in a VERY! Rural area, so sadly, I don't have very many options. T_T

Yes i feel your pain before I got my own dedicated line coming to my house i had to share a very slow DSL line with my whole family. They would watch Netflix and YouTube all the time. My brothers would also be constantly downloading and seeding torrents which rendered the entire network almost useless. I eventually got fed up and bought my own dedicated broadband 100mpbs line coming into the house for $40 a month. I am now wired directly into the router that was provided to me by TWC and i have locked the WiFi so no-one else in my family can use it.

I have considered doing that multiple times, lol. I find it pointless though, because I'll be moving out, shortly. So it's not worth the trouble, imo.
