I am applying for a job and im 17 the pay is 6.50 per hour and its 39 hours a week is that good for me being 17?

13,182 per year, I would recommend devoting your time to college + university, you have the opportunity to earn a lot more then.

In other countries that may be true but in the UK its pretty much far from it, I know those who done the whole college + uni thing and still see them every other Thursday signing for their 115 a fortnight, and then see the facebook status 2 days after payday saying their broke because they spent it all on cheap cider and shit they can't afford. The life of a typical Brit.
OP: 13k a year is excellent although for your first job 39 hours a week may take some time to get used to.

Its higher than the federal minimum wage that is $7.25 (I think)
And 6.50 GBP is 9.71
Note: Dont hold me on the Federal minimum wage as im from the UK Im doing it from memory from what Ive read.
