I always hear people complain about their day at work or say they have a bad day all the time. Honestly it makes me so angry. I've done CPR twice in the past 2 weeks, one of those on an infant and both patients didn't make it. I watched someone die yesterday as I gave them chest compression and bagged them. That brings my total to 3 dead bodies seen in 2 weeks. Yet I don't complain nor mind it at all. Then when I hear people say they had a bad day at the register dealing with customers I just laugh inside. People really are missing out on life letting stupid things make their day bad and also acting like they have it so bad when they really don't. It's just annoying imo.

People have different jobs so what you don't think is anything, is annoying to someone else. They just want to get it off their chest and rant about it as you are doing right here.
It's what people do.
It's what people do.

It's not healthy for you to be feeling nothing after witnessing more than one death. It is totally normal for people to come home to their friends and family and complain and de-stress. It is actually weird that you do not. Might want to go see a doctor/therapist.

If you don't like people dying when why do the job you do?

Why should someone compare their happiness to yours? Just because you're content doesn't mean everyone else is. People starve, get cancer, pass away every day; does that mean I can't feel bummed out about my day? Come on man, the world is just a shitty place sometimes, humans are emotional creatures.
No disrespect to your career, you obviously have an important one. That's no a job I'd be able to handle so I'll be one to say thank you.

I think everyone misinterprets what I meant by this. I'm not trying to say that because I don't complain that they can't. I just think it's annoying. People are missing out on life by letting dumb things get to them. Get out and enjoy life, its short. Realize that dropping your phone and breaking it is not the end of the world and that people are going through much worse right now and that people should be more grateful. I also never said I don't feel things when people die, I just don't sit back and reconsider my career when I do.

So youre complaining about people complaining about their jobs..
Sorry we arent all you and live perfect little doctor hospital lives. We all deal with issues in life and what may not seem like a big deal to you is a potential day ruiner for someone else..

Are you a first responder? Anyways, I kind of find it ironic since they applied their job.

I complain because it helps the stress go away at the end of the day.
It's definitely important where I work, or else I wouldn't be productive the next day.
