Well I'm getting bored of the games that I have so I decided to expand my library and get more games. I was just wondering what are some great singeplayer games that came out around 2008-2011 (computer can handle up to that) I'm not worried about the cost just looking for some great games.

All in the brothers in arms series, especially hells highway were amazing. Try them out, good luck!

A fun but easy to handle single player game to play is The Binding of Isaac. I'd probably recommend getting the rebirth version, which is a few dollars more, but both are fun

Saints Row the Third is pretty decent if you're into wackiness. San Andres, Vice City, GTA 3, and 4 are all great. 5 Will be mindblowing I'd figure. I'll be damned if I tell you the Mass Effect series wasn't amazing. Dragon Age Origins and Inquisition are great, and inquisition just makes every little choice you're given just painful and in the worst way where it might take you an hour to really truly decide in hopes of that good first play through.
How to Survive
Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3
Bioshock 2
Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening/Inquisition
Arma 2 and 3
DayZ mod and StandAlone (SA)
Minecraft
Terraria
Tom Clancy's: Future Soldier
Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell Conviction
Borderlands 1 and 2 was decent
Sims 4 isn't a bad buy
Batman: Arkham Asylum, City, Origins and hopefully Knight
Total War Series (not my taste but I've yet to hear anyone say they're bad games.)
Payday 2
Darkest Dungeon (just an epic game)
Banished
Cry of Fear
Fall Out Series (everyone seems to love this one but I DO NOT at all recommend it.)
Wasteland 2
Unturned
State of Decay
Red Orchestra 2
Far Cry 3 and 4
Sniper Elite Series
Remember Me
Mirror's Edge
Divinity Series
Melody's Escape
Cypress Inheritance: The Beginning
Enola (WARNING WILL CAUSE SOME MENTAL/EMOTIONAL DAMAGE)
Metro 2033 and Last Light
Folk Tale
Jet Set Radio
Bot Colony (Probably every Sci-Fi addict's wet dream)
The Fifth Day
Coma: Mortuary (WARNING WILL CAUSE YOU S*** YOURSELF)
Kingdom Wars
Skyrim. Because no game yet has been able to say 200+ hours of content and DLC with 25+ hours. AND NO SENSE OF ANYTHING BEING DRAGGED BY THE NOOSE AROUND IT'S NECK. Modded or not the game is fun to play and just unbelievably fun.
ALSO YOU CAN GET GTA 5 ALREADY - NEED GTA 4 FIRST AND THE CONVERSION FILES FOR IT - No I have no clue if it's stable at all. Google that for "Skidrow" and of course to avoid payments to games... PirateBay and Skidrow. Also for kicka** discounts I recommend thetechgame.org. They sell everything from FIFA stuff to DLC for APB: Reloaded and even pre-orders for decent prices.

Gold and Silver is by far my favourite still.
When games like these were out you couldn't youtube "How to get past _____"
It took time and trial and error. Best childhood ever.
