He's gonna need a case upgrade, and definitely gonna benefit from a mobo upgrade. That PSU isn't very good, and I wouldn't bother picking one up. The Spec-01 isn't a great choice either IMO. Something like an N200 would be a better choice. HD7770 for $130? Instead of an R9 270 at the same price which is gonna out-perform it? Right now, for $150, he can get a PSU, mobo and case upgrade which will give him the room to upgrade CPU later and add a dedicated GPU when he has more money, enough for something decent anyway.

Alright, so I got everything ordered and should be here in a few days, when I want to get a dedicated GPU, what should I be looking for? And when I put in the mobo should I just reformat the hard drive? Or try and go through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling the new drivers?

What have you ordered so we know what we are working with.

It always best to format your HDD when changing motherboards since the HDD links itself to a motherboard and wont work* when you put it in a different motherboard.

I got mine working without formatting my SSD but my point still stands.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Didn't have money for much, just prerequisites for a new processor. I plan on getting an I5. I just want to see what I should be looking at when I can afford to buy a GPU after I upgrade CPU's.

Cancel that order. PSU is not good, and the case isn't very good either. What I suggested has a superior PSU and case for a few dollars more. Don't shoot yourself in the foot with minimal case space and a bad PSU, before you've even started upgrading.

I managed to change the order on the psu, but not the case, and the battery had shit reviews, plus it wouldn't let me sign up for Ncixus site.

Just wanna do a quick touch up on this subject. After this alL happened I ended Up UPgrading CPUs to an i5-4440. And I was able to do the streaming likE I wanted, but with multiple chrome tabs open and OBS and my cap card amongst a few other things, it would almost be maxing out my cpu usage. Then I bought a R9 270 and BAM! Cpu usage is down to about 75% or so when streaming and I can stream at 60fps now, where I couldn't before. Just though I'd let you guys know.
