The only time it's not an instant death is when the hunter is a bad shot. We hunters always go for the instant kill shot. It's just the humane thing to do.

I used to have strong opinions on hunting [about a week ago] but now I don't really care.

If you buy something from the shop or kill it yourself an animal dies either way.
Demand will always be met, and if a company is already killing a surplus number of cows or chickens to provide meat then one hunter isn't going to make the number irrelevant - that problem should be taken up with the company itself.

The only people who can complain about hunting without being hypocrites are vegetarians/vegans, in my opinion.

Yes i Hunt mainly Rabbit and Pigeon only got 12 PSI air rifle not old enough to get rifle licence in UK but my brother just got his as he also hunts too. sn))((
