Hi Guys,
Long story short I have no clue about how to make graphics. What is the best free/cheap software too use? Not necessarily for making small graphics, but for also creating wallpapers etc
Cheers 098))

I have linked two pieces of software below that are free and open-source. They are very similar to Photoshop and Illustrator. Watch YouTube tutorials on how to use the features and tools of each application. Once you understand how to work them both, take a look at artists on sites like Behance to get inspiration and try your own thing. If I had to give you one piece of advice it would be to avoid the usual, boring and repetitive 'Youtube GFX' we see all the time!
Alternative to Photoshop:
GIMP is used for [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] image editing. It is mainly used for photo editing, but it can also be used for a wide range of other art forms such as digital painting.

Alternative to Illustrator:
Inkscape is used for [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] work. Vectors are great for making scale-able graphics as they do not lose quality when re-sized (unlike raster images). Inkscape is great for Logo Design and Illustration.
