Had a small meet with some of my buddies today. We are part of a Pontiac Car Club here in Indiana. Smaller pop, maybe 80 members. Today one of the guys I haven't met showed up today with this (look @ spoiler)
It's purty ain't it?! It's a 2009 G8 GT with a Magnuson TVS1900 running on 8psi. He bought it a week ago and previous owner had it already on there. Estimating @ 500+rwhp. He hasn't dynoed it yet.
Just though i'd ask, what do you prefer? N/A, Turbocharger, or supercharger?
More pics for attention (just 2 pics of 2 meets we had this month).
Me personally, I prefer a supercharger. They provide steady power increases and give you power on demand, no need to spool the turbo's when you have all power at your hands. Some cars do deserve a turbo, just depends if your doing import or domestic.

You can't go wrong with forced induction...supercharger whine or turbo spool never gets old.

Forced induction any day of the week on a piston engine. But probably a bridgport+ on a rotary.

I've always wanted a G8 with heads/cam/full exhaust for a daily driver. Especially in that blue

Well for LS motors I would prefer Superchargers. But for almost anything else I would go with turbos.

The stryker blue is the most sought after color for the G8, and there is a reason. It is really sexy.
Yeah I have good news, I might be getting a G8 GT within a year, I can't wait. I'm moving out of mommies house and getting my own apartment lol. I had some buddies in my car club find some really cheap rebuilt title GT's in Indiana. I should have it all done within the next year. When I get my taxes done next year I'm going to go buy one.

I haven't seen that plate before, but I do know a lot of cobalt ss owners here in naptown, so if they are in indianapolis, there is a good chance I know them, or a friend of mine knows them.
