BEFORE you mod anything, tweak anything or touch your system, Research on how to go into the recovery menu & apply your backed up file system from there, NOT like an apk file, but the update.app that wipes EVERYTHING OUT & Reinstalls Every main system component that makes your phone turn on or boot. This will fix 80% of anything you could possibly due to your phone to mess it up. THEN and only then try out these apps & mod your system anyway you like. Usually you'll put this on your SDCard, and in case of bootloop or problems, you boot into the recovery & apply the update from SDcard.

Edit: Also, Dont just google these & go on without knowing what these do. research. Spend time getting to know your phone, and view your system files. Get to know where stuff is & research what thoes kinds of apps do. Like pimp-my-rom tweaks your system, but theres a chance if ou select the wrong tweak, it'd cause a bootloop.
