I agree with Acee. Try and create some 3D text through Photoshop or other programmes such as Cinema 4D, 3Ds MAX, etc. Apart from that I do like the background although it is a common design for a banner. Maybe you could incorporate some layer effects in to your work too, if you don't know how to then you can search up some tutorials. These days they're easy to find and they take you through the process step by step.

Text doesn't go well with the background.
Make the text smaller, change the font.
Remove the black stroke going around the text.
Change the font of the URL, I would also make it smaller.
Remove the heavy drop shadow of the URL, or make it less noticeable.
Drop the opacity and make the center render smaller.
I don't really like the glossy text, either. But, that's just me.
Overall, needs some more work. Keep trying, you'll eventually get there!

It's okay overall. The two things I have a problem with the most both involve the text.
1. It is hard to make bevel and emboss look good on anything. I suggest just taking it off.
2. The text that says TheTechGame.com/Cr8iv does not have a very good font with it. Batman Forever font and what i'm assuming is Times New Roman do not look good together because they are both very different fonts.

using bevel and emboss on the default settings is a no no. try the smoth settings make that a bit higher and mess with the opacity setting of the colors. lower the opacity of the black stroke on both text so its still visible. overall decent job but could use a little tweaken c:
