so im planning to get a gaming pc some time soon, but im not sure if i should buy one or build one myself. I was wondering if you guys could help me out by telling me if its better to get a 500$ gaming pc, or to build a custom 500$ gaming pc?
Thanks for helping me out and choosing the better choice

Do you want the best out of your money?
Any sane person would say yes. That's what building your own PC does; you get more form your money with better hardware which will last longer than a pre-built PC.
Let us know the following:
What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?
