bench, pull up bar, or even kettlebells. if you don't know what kettlebells are look them up, order some, and enjoy your new muscles. Learn how to do exercises with the kettlebells because its not hard to injure yourself! Good Luck with your new muscles.

Things like press ups are a good place to start. And then as it gets easier start raising your legs up

I would advise you to do body weight exercises. Such as pull ups (muscle ups potentially) and press ups .. In all honesty increases your muscle size won't exactly be beneficial, increasing your strength and toning would (losing weight).

2 Best exercises for upper body is weighted dips and weighted pull ups
There are only 3 exercises you need to build a great physique. dips, pull ups and squats, and throw in a dead lift here and there to replace the squat

I would strongly suggest pull ups, push ups, and dips (weighted optional). These are the greatest body weight exercises and will greatly increase your strength =)
