Hello TTGer's,

The first thing I want to say is I have bought most of my games through Amazon with a code. For example if I wanted GTA I would go to Amazon and buy the code and redeem it on my xbox. What I want to know is what do I do if I want to sell the Xbox and keep the games. I want to get another xbox because mine has soldering issues so I am planning to buy a new one but don't want to buy all the games again. Also I do have a game on disc. What do I do with it just download it again or will it not allow me to do that? Please help.

If you sign in with your account on your NEW xbox you buy you can download the games again.

The code activated a Game License to YOUR XBOX ACCOUNT. So where ever your account gets signed in, you can download and pay your games. There is also a thing call 'Home Xbox'. Make sure to make your OLD Xbox NOT your home xbox and make your NEW xbox your home xbox. To change it you have to go to settings>My Xbox>My home Xbox> and select 'this isn't my home xbox' or 'Make home xbox'.(Only One option will appear at a time)

Yes, if the code was redeemed on your account.

Just re-login and BOOM your download history would be the same.

Yes. Or when you go to Games and Apps>Then go to games> and scroll to the right it should have a list of games you can download that you own.

Yes just be sure to make the new one as home xbox and download them again.

Ok, one more question. If I were to sell it to somebody would they get the games?
