Every time I try and join a CoD 4 Server, I get the message Server Disconnected and then it kicks me.

Does anyone know why?

Is your Punkbuster setup for CoD4?

It's a real bastard to get it to install the right version...

Well SirChang (or Xiggy whatever you prefer) has been helping me for the past few hours.

I got a PnkbstrA.exe error but that has since sorted itself out.

I tried to follow the tut in your sticky but get a global config error to do with 404 URL when I update PunkBuster?

1. Uninstall current Punkbuster version.
2. Download the Legacy version using the link below.
3. Install it.
4. Patch CoD4 in Punkbuster.
5. Start CoD4.

That way works for me everytime i get a PB error.

But if it gives you a 404, tranfer these files to your CoD4/PB folder.

Just did all that and now I'm getting kicked by PunkBuster agaon?

I fixed the other issue. Now I'm getting kicked by Punkbuster. I have tried every solution and it won't work :/

I've had this problem a couple of times now and the way I fixed it was different to Craigs even though his way should of worked.

The rar is from the PB files in my CoD 4 directory and so far it worked for me.

Copy the files in the rar to the PB folder in your CoD 4 directory and hopefully it should resolve being kicked by PB every time.
