Here's the first episode synopsis from IMDb.

Cersei and Jaime adjust to a world without Tywin. Varys reveals a conspiracy to Tyrion. Daenerys faces a new threat to her rule. Jon is caught between two kings.

I think Mance Rayder and Stannis will argue about whether they should stay at the wall and defend it, or head south to attack Kings Landing, respectively.
So I think someone from Stannis' army will be killed by a White walker, or Stannis himself will be attacked. It's the only way Stannis will be convinced of the threat they pose, and it will force his army to stay and defend the wall, rather than heading south.

I also think Tommen will start to be a very good ruler to his people and will be loved by them.
It will throw in a moral spin on whether Daenerys, Stannis, Littlefinger, etc should actually try to win the throne.
Littlefinger won't care, but Daenerys and Stannis probably will.

I read up on this a while back and now I'm starting to think that this will be a main plot for season five

Maybe spoilers

Jon Snow's Parents?

Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, who abducted Eddard's siter Lyanna and the love of Robert Baratheon's life and inadvertently started the rebellion that deposed the Targaryens, had sex with Lyanna - maybe consensually, maybe not - and Lyanna died giving birth to Jon. Knowing that Jon would be in considerable danger if his half-Targaryen blood were revealed (remember, Robert was determined to kill every last Targaryen on the planet), he pretended the boy was his own bastard, and took him to Winterfell, telling nobody the truth. Although Ned is incredibly secretive regarding Jon's parentage, he does remember making Lyanna a promise on her death bed, which was likely to keep Jon secret and safe.

Daenerys is already a Targaryen, and as per above, most people think Jon is, too. So what about Tyrion? Some readers believe that the Mad King Aerys is Tyrion's real father, having forced himself on Tywin's wife Joanna, with Tywin never knowing, or possibly even being a willing pimp. GRRM mentions at one point that Aerys definitely found Joanna attractive. Jon describes Tyrion as having hair so blonde as to be white, which sounds a lot more like Targaryen's hair color than the Lannister blonde; plus, Tyrion has one green eye (very Lannister) and one black eye and Daenerys' eye color is described as to be so purple it's practically black. Last but not least, Tywin himself tells Tyrion he's "no son of mine," although admittedly, that's immediately after Tyrion shoots him with a crossbow, so perhaps he was just being shitty.

I think Daenerys, Jon and Tryion are the three headed dragon

but that's just me ;)

Im really excited but sadly I have to work all night.

To the people that have watched Game of Thrones.

Is it worth getting? I want to get into a good TV series but I've heard good and bad things about Game of Thrones

There isn't a show I would recommend more than Game of Thrones.
The main complaints I hear about the show are that it's slow, hard to understand, and boring.
The first season is slow, hard to understand, and because of those two things, it seems boring. Once you begin to understand what is going on [which should have happened by the second season] it becomes incredibly enjoyable and rewarding to watch.
You feel as though you're actually watching this world unravel and descend into chaos.

Starting watching from your recommendation and now I've become addicted! On season 3 now I can't get enough of it.
