They will spew "Racist" about without knowing its meaning. Come on, read their policies and name ANY that promote racism. They are a legitimate party, whether you like it or not. They will do well in the upcoming election because no matter what CaMORON says or the anti-British labour, the British public are sick to death of being 2nd class citizens in their own country. Only the United Kingdom Independance Party can bring a change to our politics, a damn good change at that. They are the party with common sense. They speak to the working people. Vote UKIP 7th May, or the UK will truly be in trouble.
Anti British? Because i dont believe that everyone that comes to this country are stupid immigrants that only want to 'take from us' and make us feel like 'second class citizens'. Like i said, We are part of the EU.. It benefits us as much as any other country in the EU.
As i have already stated, I think the whole immigration thing could be better but UKIP should not be given power of this And your blind to think there not racist, sorry but you are.
You can down vote my posts as much as you like, I am only stating my opinion..
we all have the right to vote who we want at the end of the day.
Also i am voting neither labour or tory.
Benefits our country? Jesus Christ, I hope you are joking. We send £9 BILLION in foreign aid every year to country's who don't even need our help. We pay another £8 BILLION in net contributions each year, and for what? All this money could go into something useful, like the NHS which is what UKIP have pleged to do. We don't even make our own laws because we are part of the EU. All our laws come from Brussels. As long as we are part of the EU, we are an open door for everyone and anyone. As for you saying they're "Racist" you need to pull your head out of the sand and tell me WHY they are racist instead of just saying "because CaMORON told me so".
Also, not a tory/labour voter? Must be Lib Dem, and what have they done exactly? Oh yeah, bugger all. If it's anything as such as "The Green Party" I cannot take you seriously.
Leaving the EU;
Millions of jobs could be lost as global manufacturers move to lower-cost EU countries. Britain's large foreign-owned car industry would shift into the EU and sectors linked to EU membership such as aerospace would also suffer. Airbus production could move to France and Germany, pro-EU commentators claim.
The real issue is the right of UK citizens to work and live in EU member states, which may be restricted.
The UK's contribution to the EU budget is a drop in the ocean compared with the benefits to business of being in the single market, says pressure group Business for New Europe. It could be costly for UK exporters if they face EU legal arguments against UK standards - there could be a lot more court cases.
The UK could lose tax revenue if companies dealing with the eurozone, especially banks, move from the City to the EU.
The EU is the UK's main trading partner, worth more than £400bn a year, or 52% of the total trade in goods and services.
"The UK is always likely to be better positioned to secure beneficial trade deals as a member of the EU than as an individual and isolated player," says Labour's Europe spokeswoman Emma Reynolds. The EU is currently negotiating with the US to create the world's biggest free trade area - something that will be highly beneficial to British business.
Stripped of influence in Brussels, Berlin and Paris, Britain would find itself increasingly ignored by Washington and sidelined on big transnational issues such as the environment, security and trade.
America and other allies want Britain to remain in the EU. The UK risks becoming a maverick, isolated state if it leaves.
"Tax avoidance and evasion will reach crippling levels as our economy becomes increasingly wholly owned by foreign multinationals that make tax avoidance in Britain central to their business strategy," claims pro-European The Observer newspaper.
Source: BBC ect, if you would like to do some research
"Source : BBC"
The most HEAVILY left-winged news source that you could have POSSIBLY found. They are Pro-EU, of course they are going to spew out some bullcrap numbers about "how bad it would be if we left the EU".
You mentioned before that you would be okay with the another party having the same immigration control that UKIP want, however this is NOT possible as long as we are a part of the EU.
And where do you get your numbers from?
You can find out anywhere what the UK's foreign aid budget is. A quick google search from different sources will tell you this.
and you think the BBC would just spew random numbers without checking them first? Don't be silly.
From what I can tell, everything from that BBC source is also backed up by more sources.
You're acting like this is all straightforward and that UKIP has no cons.
There are pros and cons with everything, calling other people stupid for realizing this when you don't is very ironic.
That's the beauty of opinions though isn't it? From my personal point of view, UKIP are the party for me because there isn't a single thing I disagree with them on. Of course, I'm not close minded enough to think that others won't disagree. I simply like debates and want to hear what others think. Also I never called anyone stupid.

You're confusing UKIP with the BNP, wanting out of the European Union and having some form of immigration control is hardly what you're describing.

This thread is full of people who should really research a lot more before they can vote.
..But mainly those who are, luckily, not old enough to.
UKIP will not gain a majority unless they pull out some seriously good financial strategy - which will not happen for any party.
UKIP joining a coalition government is starting to look like a real possibility, this means their EU immediate exit is not a reality, but will push the Tories to their promise of a 2017 EU referendum. They will also push for their immigration manifesto; however, the Tories already have very similar targets to UKIP (something many people forget, or don't realise).
The third, most likely situation (at the moment) is that they gain a fair few seats in parliament and win some Tory constituencies, levering their pressure on local councils and attempting to pass more favorable bills and growing their public image as a sensible political party.
For note, I shall not be voting UKIP in the election, however it is important to not label them as racists and act like the other parties are clean. None of them are. They all have good and bad members.

I will assume you do not know much about politics. There is a sanction in place called First Past The Post (FPTP) where the parties voted upon need the majority of votes to get in power. Sometimes, parties do not get the required percentages of seats, thus coalitions.
A prime example is the Cons/Lib Dem coalition we have now.
UKIP do not have the pull nor the power to get into parliament, and the majority of the UK do not want them in. Likelyhood is it will either be a Conservative on their own, or another Conservative/Lib Dem coalition.
I support Lib Dems.

Thinking of voting for UKIP tomorrow?
If you care even a jot about the rights of women, think on.
Here are 15 reasons why women (and men who believe in equality of the sexes) should sooner drink poison than vote for the Kippers tomorrow.
1. Nigel Farage on women: Godfreys [Bloom, former UKIP MEP] comment that no employer with a brain in the right place would employ a young, single, free woman has been proved so right. With this lunacy, that if you have children you get three months paid leave off work, or six months paid leave off work he absolutely got it spot on.
2. UKIP want to scrap paid maternity leave (in line with Lesotho, Swaziland, the US and Papua New Guinea).
3. UKIP want to make it legal for employers to discriminate on the basis of gender (as well as race).
4. This would also entail the scrapping of employment regulations against sexual harassment and safeguards for part time and irregular workers, the majority of which are women.
5. Nigel Farage informed City high flyers that they are worth less to employers if they become mothers or that motherhood is a lifestyle choice.
6. Patrick OFlynn, MEP Candidate, also say that pregnant women in the workplace are a disaster.
7. UKIPs MEPs have consistently failed to represent the interests of women. They have voted against or simply not turned up to key votes in the European Parliament on ensuring equal pay, combating violence against women and ruling out FGM, to name but a few.
8. Since the 2009 European Election UKIPs only two female MEPs, Nikki Sinclaire and Marta Andreasen, have both left the party. Andreason said Farage doesnt try to involve intelligent professional women in positions of responsibility in the party. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom. Nikki Sinclaire won an Employment Tribunal claim for sex discrimination against the party.
9. Roger Helmer, UKIP MEP and candidate in the Newark by-election, said, Rape is always wrong, but not always equally culpable.
10. Godfrey Bloom, a former UKIP MEP, was not reprimanded for hugely sexist statements such as, [feminists are] shrill, bored, middle-class women of a certain physical genre and, Women, in spite of years of training in art and music and significant leisure time in the 18th and 19th Centuries have produced few great works
11. Stuart Wheeler, the partys treasurer, said that women were absolutely nowhere when they compete with men in sports where they are not physically disadvantaged. He said, I would just like to challenge the idea that it is necessary to have a lot of women or a particular number on a board Business is very, very competitive and you should take the performance of women in another competitive area, which is sport where [men] have no strength advantage.
12. In November 2013, UKIP MEP, Stuart Agnew said (in a debate on women in the boardroom) that Women dont have the ambition to get to the top, something gets in the way. Its called a baby Those females who really want to get to the top do so.
13. David Chalice , a senior party official in Exeter, has voiced his belief that women should stay at home and that cash-strapped Moslems should have multiple wives.
14. Demetri Marchessini, the partys sixth-largest individual donor in 2013, said there was no such thing as marital rape, arguing: If you make love on Friday and make love Sunday, you cant say Saturday is rape. He also claimed women should be banned from wearing trousers because they discourage love-making
As Russel Brand correctly said, Farage is a pound shop Enoch Powell. (I pray, since you seem so inclined to spout your UKIP support on here you know who he is, and why UKIP are so marvelously close to his ideology.)

Personally I'm all for them stopping the immigration problem we have but don't really support the whole making the "rich, richer" shenanigans they've got going on. Although I think it's all bullshit, they tell you what you want to hear just for your vote, hence why in my opinion the country is the way it is.

Wordsmith wroteUKIP Are racists
There's a distinguishable difference between racism and immigration control.
We should be more like Australia.
This is what ive been saying, not get rid of all the people who arent white, just stop the thousands upon thousands of immigrants entering illegally, and then having our goverments and councils paying for them!
