I don't understand why people can't just play what they like and not fight with others and call the ignorant. Ive played PC, Xbox and PS all more than enough. Personally I like xbox, not because it's better just because it is my preference all the others are fine as well.

PC is undeniably the best platform. It's cheaper in the long run (hell even initially a $400 PC beats out the PS4 and Xbox One).

There is literally and endless amount of customization and choices to tailor games the way you see fit.

However I don't care what you play, PS4, XB1, Wii. I own all current gen and many last gen consoles as well, and enjoy the hell out of them. I play them simply for the exclusives.

It's futile and ignorant to try and argue that consoles provide a superior gaming experience.

The PC Master Race joke isn't going away either. It's satire and just because some people get so beat up over that doesn't mean it should go away. Satire works for everyone, nothing is too good to have a simple laugh over,

It's no way the worst joke ever. In fact, it's pretty funny how the console fan boys respond.

Well, there is such thing as better actually. Having $5 is better than having $2, right? Well, PC's perform better than consoles. Whether you care about that or not, is irrelevant, PC hardware is still better. Most of the kids who get butthurt about PCMR are pre-pubescent, and it's always pretty funny when they hit a rage for no reason, whether it's about console wars, PCMR or anything.

+1 to the rewording. The whole "understand the benefits" thing was just rude. Some people just prefer couch gaming and that's fine. What's not, is trying to claim that consoles have better hardware or can perform better than PC's.

Disclaimer; this is an opinion

Personally I don't fully believe half of the crap PC Master Race believers blurt out, I mean I used to be a console gamer and was a console gamer for years. I moved to PC not because of the so called 'master race' but because I wanted a better gaming experience for myself.

That being said, consoles have their uses, you might like the console specific exclusives or you could just want to game casually and both of those are great reasons to own a console.

That being said I believe if you truly love games and want a great gaming experience it's PC or bust. In the time I have had my PC compared to the years I owned consoles I have had more fun and a better experience on PC ten fold.

The whole 'PC Master Race' thing is not to be taken seriously, it's a joke we PC users use, nothing more. The people who think it means more when they say it or the people who take people using that term seriously are die hard fanboys of either a console or PC.

While it is true that a decent percentile of PC gamers feel the need to boast their superiority over consoles a lot, in a way they kind of have a right to, I mean if you own a Lamborghini Aventador you are going to feel good about it and occasionally boast about it, it's just something that comes with owning something better than others, we love to be competitive.

People also seem to miss out on a lot of the competitiveness that comes within the PC gaming community itself, excluding consoles. If you are on PC there is going to be someone with a better PC than yours or a better benchmark score than yours and they will feel the need to boast about it but at the same time you will subconsciously do the same to people you better. Again, that is to do with us being competitive as a nature.

As I said, I don't fully believe in the PC Master Race however I will use it as a joke and in my experience I feel PC gaming is worthy of being called the master race however a lot of tools will use it out of context to make others feel bad which isn't exactly right either.

don't get me wrong you pc players do have better graphics ect.. But it comes at a cost and within 2 years your pc will be outdated and half the price you payed for it
